From the Limbaugh/Fox News war against "PC" in the 1990s to YouTube "Influencers" and sadly still Fox News and their equally phony war on "wokeness," the song remains the same.

Right wing media and their victims who repeat the words to spread the illness are pretty much the only people using the word "woke" at this point and the only people who know what you mean by it at any given time.

Congratulations on taking the most overtly positive word people could think of to connote finding a little bit of wisdom, and turning it into a sledge hammer with which to pound your enemies into the ground.
