My Experiment with the mantra, “Do something, but never over-do anything.”

It’s now 5 minutes after 8 AM on Sunday morning and I just completed the first salvo of today’s Easy Grind. And you know what…? I’m starting to like this.

However, after delicately blasting my pecs, abs, and lats for two days I totally remembered why I stopped doing stuff like this a long time ago. Exercise sucks. Especially once you reach my age… which is…

You know, a long time ago, a different generation from mine (let’s call them “Baby Boomers” as kind of code word just between you and me) invented the idea that, despite science and basic observational skills, they were all going to live healthy, guilt-free lives forever. All they needed to do was hang in long enough for some egghead to invent and manufacture enough robot bodies to download all their souls into. Once safely locked inside the immortal robots, they could all easily survive the hellish remnants of the world they had conspicuously consumed. It was a perfect plan.

Sometime in the 1980s, while betting that the robots would arrive any minute now, these “Baby Boomers” optimistically decided to start calling “40”…
